Pune, Aug. 3 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast continued rainfall activity across Maharashtra for the next four days, issuing a Red Alert for parts of the Konkan coast and the Ghat regions of Madhya Maharashtra.
Citizens have been urged to remain vigilant, while authorities in some districts have declared school holidays following the weather warning.
According to the IMD, the Konkan coastline, the Ghat areas of central Maharashtra, and parts of Vidarbha are likely to receive heavy to extremely heavy rainfall over the coming days.
While the Red Alert has been issued for the Konkan and Ghat regions, the rest of Maharashtra is expected to witness light to moderate rainfall, with isolated spells of heavy rain. An Ora...
