New Delhi, June 9 -- As residents of Delhi braved the scorching heat with temperatures breaching 42degC, the weather department has forecast rain and thunderstorms for the city on Tuesday.
"Very light to light rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning with gusty winds of 50-60 kmph very likely over parts of Delhi," said officials from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in the afternoon district-level forecast.
South East Delhi, East Delhi, Shahadra, Central Delhi, North East Delhi, South Delhi, New Delhi, South West Delhi, North West Delhi, West Delhi and North Delhi are the districts of Delhi likely to be impacted by Tuesday's shower.
