Kanpur, April 20 -- The IIT Kanpur Foundation on Monday announced the appointment of Deepak Raj, distinguished alumnus and seasoned global financial leader, as the new Chair of its Board of Directors.Raj assumes the role at a pivotal moment of growth for the Foundation and will spearhead initiatives to advance the global mission of the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK).
Bringing over four decades of expertise in global finance and philanthropy, Raj is the founder of Raj Associates and a former director of Global Equity Research at Merrill Lynch. His leadership comes as the Foundation seeks to expand its endowment and support cutting-edge research initiatives worldwide.
