New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- A 31-year-old M.Sc. Physics student of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi died on Saturday morning after allegedly falling from the sixth floor of a campus building, police said.
The incident was reported to the Kishangarh police station at around 8:33 a.m. following a PCR call about a student having fallen from a building inside the IIT Delhi campus.
A police team reached the spot and found the student injured. He was taken to the institute's campus hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased was identified during the preliminary investigation as a student of the M.Sc. Physics programme.
