Bhubaneswar, June 10 -- Researchers from the Sensors and Spectroscopy Research Group of the School of Electrical and Computer Sciences (SECS) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar have developed an innovative portable arsenic detection device, named "ArsenSafe", aimed at enhancing water quality monitoring and safeguarding public health.
The compact, handheld device has been developed through Nano Semic Pvt. Ltd., a startup incubated at the Research and Entrepreneurship Park of IIT Bhubaneswar. The initiative is led by Dr. Sayan Dey and Dr. Akshay K., faculty members of the institute.
