Hyderabad, March 25 -- IIIT Hyderabad, in association with the Frontier Tech Hub of NITI Aayog, hosted an industry-academia roundtable and workshop on "Quantum Technologies for Life Sciences" here on Wednesday, focusing on actionable use cases and India's quantum roadmap.
The event brought together researchers, industry leaders, startups and policymakers to explore how quantum computing and sensing can address complex challenges in healthcare, biology and drug discovery.
The workshop featured expert talks, brainstorming sessions and panel discussions, with deliberations centred on four key areas - quantum computing for drug discovery, scientific modelling and simulation, quantum-enabled diagnostics and quantum sensing applications.
