Shimla, May 9 -- The birth anniversary of poet Laureate Rabindranath Tagore was celebrated with enthusiasm and reverence at the Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore Gallery of the Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS) at Rashtrapati Niwas here on Saturday.
The event highlighted the institute's continued efforts to preserve and promote Tagore's literary, philosophical and cultural legacy through dedicated academic and cultural initiatives.
During the programme, officials informed that the institute had recently developed the Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore Gallery to showcase the life, works and enduring intellectual contributions of the Nobel laureate, enabling scholars and visitors to engage more closely with his multifaceted legacy.
