Srinagar, Sept. 3 -- Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, Sujit Kumar, today visited Anantnag and chaired a security and crime review meeting at the District Police Office (DPO), taking stock of the overall security situation and measures to maintain peace and order in the district.
During the meeting, the IGP emphasised the need to further strengthen the security grid and maintain close coordination among field formations.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Inspector General of police South Kashmir Javid Iqbal Matoo, SSP Anantnag Amod Ashok Nagpure, and other senior officers of District Anantnag.
