Srinagar, Sept. 4 -- Inspector General of Police, Kashmir, Sujit Kumar on Friday chaired a security review meeting to assess and strengthen arrangements for the smooth and secure conduct of Kashmir's first International Film Festival, officials said.
Beginning September 7, the four-day festival will bring together filmmakers, artists, producers and cinema enthusiasts from across the world, providing a platform for local talent to gain international exposure.
The meeting was attended by senior officers from the police, CAPFs and civil administration, including officers from CID Kashmir, CRPF, BSF, ITBP, SSB, Traffic Police, Security, SDRF, Fire & Emergency Services, Tourism and Information departments, besides other concerned officers.
