Srinagar, Aug. 3 -- Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone, V.K. Birdi Monday directed officers to strengthen security arrangements and devise robust counter-insurgency strategies to ensure sustained preparedness and maintain a proactive security grid across the Valley.
Birdi issued the directions while chairing a security review meeting in Srinagar to assess the prevailing security scenario and review security arrangements ahead of forthcoming events.
He stressed the need for seamless coordination among all security agencies and directed officers to continuously review and strengthen the existing security framework.
