Panchkula, June 26 -- The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has expanded its outreach in Punjab by establishing a new Learner Support Centre at G.N. Girls College, Dakala Road, Patiala, under the jurisdiction of its Regional Centre Chandigarh. The new centre aims to widen access to quality higher education through the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode.
Senior Regional Director, IGNOU Regional Centre, Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, said the newly established Study Centre will offer three employment-oriented programmes - Bachelor of Business Administration in Retailing (BBARIL), Bachelor of Commerce (Financial and Cost Accounting) [BCOMF], and Post Graduate Diploma in International Business Operations (PGDIBO).
