Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 25 -- The 18th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK) opened with 23 films screened across the International Fiction and International Non-Fiction categories on the first day, including the opening film A Fox Under the Pink Moon.
Fourteen films were screened in the International Fiction category, with Peruvian film What Ruins Our Blood, Argentine film Unacceptable and French film Pale Sun drawing appreciation from the audience.
What Ruins Our Blood explores the extensive destruction caused by heavy industries to natural habitats, while Pale Sun portrays a vulnerable relationship between a father and his son.
