Jerusalem/Beirut, May 27 -- The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) claimed in a brief statement Wednesday to have struck "more than 150 Hezbollah infrastructure sites and terrorists" in its attacks on the Iranian-proxy militia Hezbollah in Lebanon over the last day, which took place in and around the southern Lebanese cities of Tyre, Nabatieh, and in the Beqaa Valley area.
According to Lebanese officials, the military strikes killed more than 30 people, with bodies of children being among those pulled from the rubble of buildings in the cities.
