New Delhi, Aug. 27 -- The Indian Coast Guard, in coordination with the Indian Navy and other maritime agencies, has intensified search and rescue operations for the crew of Panama-flagged bulk carrier MV Ocean Winner, which went missing in the Bay of Bengal on August 22.
The Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC), Vijaya Puram, received a distress message from Victory Star Group Co. Ltd on August 22, reporting the loss of communication with the vessel, located approximately 230 nautical miles southeast of Paradip.
