New Delhi, May 27 -- In a major blow to maritime drug trafficking networks, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) and Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) have seized approximately 115 kg of cocaine, valued at an estimated Rs 1,150 crore in the international market, during a joint anti-smuggling operation off the Mundra coast in Gujarat.

The intelligence-based operation, conducted between May 25 and 26, was launched following specific and actionable inputs provided by ATS Gujarat regarding suspected narcotics trafficking through the maritime route.
