Siliguri, Sept. 15 -- IAS officers, including District Magistrates, Additional District Magistrates and Sub-Divisional Officers, will take classes in colleges once or twice a month to motivate students and share their experiences, Tourism and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shankar Ghosh said on Tuesday.
Addressing the 29th foundation day ceremony of Surya Sen Mahavidyalaya in Siliguri, Ghosh, who is also the MLA of Siliguri and president of the college governing body, said he had asked the SDO, Siliguri, who was present at the programme as the college administrator, to take classes not merely as an administrator but as an IAS officer.
