Hyderabad, July 11 -- union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting, and Electronics & Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw, on Saturday said Hyderabad will be the biggest beneficiary of the Centre's ambitious bullet train network, with multiple high-speed rail corridors set to transform connectivity and economic growth across southern India.

Addressing the media after meeting with industry leaders here, Vaishnaw said the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project is progressing rapidly, and the first section between Surat and Bilimora will be operational next year, with subsequent stretches opening in phases.
