Hyderabad, July 25 -- Hyderabad Police have made elaborate security and traffic arrangements for the Sri Ujjaini Mahankali Bonalu (Lashkar Bonalu) Festival-2026 in Secunderabad to ensure a safe and hassle-free darshan for devotees, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Secunderabad Zone) Rakshitha Krishna Murthy said on Saturday.
The DCP said a total of 2,500 police personnel would be deployed for the festival, while AI-enabled CCTV cameras would be used to monitor suspicious movements and facilitate prompt action.
The temple premises and surrounding areas would also remain under continuous CCTV surveillance.
