Hyderabad, May 3 -- Ahead of the Bakrid festival, Hyderabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar said that strict measures, including the establishment of checkpoints at key entry points of the Commissionerate, are being put in place to prevent any untoward incidents.
Speaking at a coordination meeting with representatives of various cow protection groups at TGICCC in Banjara Hills on Sunday, he emphasised that while volunteers may report cases of illegal cattle transportation, they must not take the law into their own hands or engage in any form of violence.
