Hyderabad, July 27 -- Advanced Wound Healing (AWH) Clinics on Monday inaugurated what it described as Bharat's first dedicated Advanced Wound Healing and Limb Salvage Institution at Moosarambagh in the city here.
The institution aims to provide specialised treatment for diabetic foot disease, chronic wounds and other limb-threatening conditions.
The facility was inaugurated by former Haryana and Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, who also launched "Happy Feet", a public awareness campaign to promote preventive foot care, early detection of foot complications and timely medical intervention to reduce avoidable amputations.
