Hyderabad, July 11 -- union Coal and Mines Minister G Kishan Reddy on Saturday said Hyderabad is emerging as one of India's leading technology and infrastructure hubs, playing a pivotal role in the country's journey towards becoming a global technological powerhouse under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Addressing the media after an interaction with IT industry leaders in Hyderabad, in the presence of union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting and Electronics & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw, Reddy said the city has become one of India's largest semiconductor design centres and is home to the indigenous railway safety system 'Kavach'.
