Hyderabad, May 22 -- A local court in Hyderabad sentenced a 44-year-old man to 60 days of imprisonment for allegedly harassing and ill-treating his elderly parents within the limits of Narayanguda Police Station.
According to police, the accused, G Srinivas, had been repeatedly harassing his aged parents. Based on a complaint lodged by the victims, Narayanguda Police registered a case against him under Section 70B of the City Police Act and Section 115(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
The investigation was conducted by Sub-Inspector J. Srikanth Reddy, who collected evidence and produced the accused before the Special Judicial Magistrate Court at Nampally.
