Hyderabad, Aug. 8 -- Telangana Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Saturday launched four Information, Education and Communication (IEC) initiatives of the Metropolitan Surveillance Unit (MSU), GHMC, aimed at strengthening community awareness on dengue prevention, mosquito control, dog bites and disease reporting.
The initiatives were launched at an awareness programme organised as part of efforts to strengthen prevention of vector-borne and seasonal diseases in Hyderabad.
The programme was attended by GHMC Chief Medical Officer of Health Amar Singh Nayak, MSU officials, Assistant Medical Officers of Health and Entomology staff.
