Hyderabad, July 12 -- Hyderabad and Cyberabad Traffic Police booked a total of 832 motorists for drunken driving during special enforcement drives conducted over the weekend, according to separate police statements issued on Sunday.
Hyderabad Traffic Police registered 478 cases during a two-day drive on July 10 and 11, including 398 two-wheeler riders, 42 three-wheeler drivers and 38 four-wheeler and other vehicle drivers.
The police said offenders recorded varying Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) levels, with 14 drivers registering BAC levels above 300 mg/100 ml.
Cyberabad Traffic Police booked 354 drunken driving cases, comprising 299 two-wheelers, 17 three-wheelers and 38 four-wheelers. All offenders will be produced before the court...
