Hyderabad, Sept. 19 -- The Hyderabad Commissioner's Task Force, in coordination with Khammam Police, has apprehended an inter-state gang allegedly involved in 13 cattle theft cases across Telangana and multiple shutter-lifting thefts at mobile-phone shops in Telangana and Madhya Pradesh, police said on Saturday.
The gang allegedly stole cattle by using sedative injections and later shifted to targeting mobile-phone shops, with the stolen devices being disposed of through an organised network extending to Mumbai and Bangladesh, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar said in a press conference here.
He said the Task Force's Jubilee Hills Zone team and Khammam Police apprehended the accused on August 18 based on credible information....
