Hyderabad, Aug. 25 -- Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) President Kalvakuntla Kavitha has constituted a committee of educationists and party leaders to examine the future of polytechnic education in Telangana and the impact of the State Government's GO 97.
Kavitha directed the committee to study the implications of bringing polytechnic education under the Skill University, including concerns raised by students over the proposed changes and the reported move to place polytechnic education under the Labour Department framework.
Students have been protesting against GO 97 and demanding its withdrawal, expressing apprehension over their future and the continuity of polytechnic education under the new system.
