Hyderabad, Aug. 13 -- The Railway Protection Force (RPF) band of South Central Railway (SCR) performed a musical show at Begumpet Railway Station on Thursday as part of Independence Day celebrations.
The band played several patriotic tunes and popular songs to mark the 80th year of India's Independence, enthralling passengers and spectators at the station premises.
The programme was aimed at fostering patriotism among people, particularly the youth, the SCR said.
DIG-CSC, RPF, South Central Railway M Suresh, ASC, RPF, Secunderabad Division Narendra Kumar Verma, SIB Inspector D Srinivasa Rao, Begumpet Police Station CI Saidulu and RPF Nampally Inspector S Suresh Babu attended the programme.
