Hyderabad, May 9 -- A case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has been registered against the son of union Minister of state for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar in Hyderabad following allegations of sexual harassment of a minor girl.
Police said the case was registered on Friday night based on a complaint filed by the minor girl's family.
Pet Basheerabad police booked a case under relevant sections of the BNS and Section 11 (Sexual harassment) of the POCSO Act against the Minister's son.
According to the girl's mother, the minister's son, Bhageerath, who was allegedly in a relationship with her daughter, sexually harassed the minor.
