Hyderabad, Aug. 14 -- NALSAR University of Law has said it will consult its Executive Council on a request from the Bar Council of India (BCI) seeking an inquiry into persons involved in recent developments concerning the university's upcoming convocation.
In a press release on Thursday evening, the Hyderabad-based university said it received a BCI letter directing the disallowance of enrolment of all graduating B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) students of the 2026 batch and seeking an inquiry report into those involved in the developments concerning the convocation.
The university subsequently received another letter from the BCI rescinding the directive to State Bar Councils disallowing enrolment of the graduating students.
