Hyderabad, Sept. 5 -- Lallaguda Police have arrested a 35-year-old man for allegedly cheating people by promising government jobs, IPL tickets and other benefits by falsely claiming to have contacts with Ministers, senior police officers, government officials, celebrities and other influential persons, police said on Saturday.

The accused was identified as Bhukya Mohan Lal, 35, a fitness trainer and resident of Kukatpally, Hyderabad, originally from Wanaparthy.

According to police, Mohan Lal allegedly promised the complainant eight lounge and ground-floor tickets for the RCB-Sunrisers IPL match for Rs 1.70 lakh and collected Rs 1 lakh in cash at Taaza Kitchen, Tarnaka.
