Hyderabad, April 14 -- Buddaprakash Jyoti, Chairman and Managing Director of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), on Tuesday said that performing one's duties efficiently is the true tribute to B. R. Ambedkar.
Speaking as the chief guest at the 135th birth anniversary celebrations of Dr Ambedkar held at Singareni Bhavan here, he said Ambedkar not only provided rights to citizens through the Constitution but also created opportunities for common people to rise to the highest positions.
Describing the Constitution as a unifying force, he said it instilled a sense of oneness among Indians beyond caste and religion, and termed it a historic gift of Ambedkar to the nation.
