Hyderabad, May 25 -- Telangana Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Monday launched a sharp attack on BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) over criticism of the Indiramma housing scheme and challenged the BRS leader on implementation of welfare housing programmes.
In a post on X, Ponguleti, Revenue, Housing and Information & Public Relations Minister, alleged that KTR "who even tapped the phones of his own sister (Kavitha) and brother-in-law" had no right to utter the name of Indiramma.
Defending the Congress government's housing programme, the minister said that within the first two-and-a-half years of coming to power, the government was constructing 4.5 lakh houses across the state.
