Hyderabad, Aug. 8 -- Doctors at Amor Hospitals on Saturday claimed that they have helped a 34-year-old man regain the ability to stand and walk with assistance after he remained bedridden for nearly three years following a severe traumatic brain injury sustained in a road accident.
The patient had suffered a critical head injury three years ago and underwent multiple life-saving neurosurgical procedures, the hospital said in a release here.
Though his life was saved, he subsequently developed severe deformities in both lower limbs, leaving him unable to stand or walk independently and eventually completely bedridden.
