Panchkula, July 20 -- Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL) has initiated one of its most extensive transmission network expansion exercises in recent years, proposing 11 high-voltage transmission line projects and major substation works across six districts of the state.
The proposals, published in the Haryana Government Gazette, are now open for public objections and representations for a period of two months. The upgraded 220 kV, 132 kV and 66 kV transmission infrastructure traverses dozens of villages in the Panipat, Karnal, Jind, Rohtak, Sirsa and Ambala districts.
