New Delhi, June 13 -- Promising hurdler Tejas Shirse took himself closer to securing a place in India's squad for the 2026 Commonwealth Games after producing a record-breaking performance in the men's 110m hurdles at the Indian Athletics Series 9 in Ludhiana on Saturday.
The 24-year-old clocked an impressive 13.27 seconds to not only shatter his own national record but also comfortably breach the Athletics Federation of India's Commonwealth Games qualification mark of 13.39 seconds.
Competing in the B final, Shirse got off to a flying start and quickly established control of the race.
