Buenos Aires, May 10 -- Substitute Oscar Romero converted two extra-time penalties asnine-man Huracan advanced to the quarterfinals of Argentina's Apertura tournament with a 3-2 win at Boca Juniors.
Leonardo Gil put Huracan ahead in the fifth minute and the visitor appeared to be cruising toward victory until Milton Gimenez equalized in the 87th minute with a close-range finish on Saturday.
Romero, who replaced Gil in the 82nd minute, restored his side's lead with a 94th-minute penalty after Lautaro Di Lollo brought down Juan Bisanz.
Paraguayan midfielder Romero made it 3-1 nine minutes later when he again struck from the spot after a Di Lollo handball.
