Bengaluru, July 22 -- Hundreds of students, activists and members of civil society gathered at Freedom Park here on Wednesday to express solidarity with protests in New Delhi over the alleged NEET paper leak, demanding accountability from the Centre and the resignation of union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The demonstration, organised by the Karnataka Rashtra Samithi (KRS) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), drew an estimated 500-700 participants, while around 35-40 protesters observed a hunger strike.
Raising slogans of "Inquilab Zindabad", "Vande Mataram" and "Azadi", the protesters said the agitation was aimed at highlighting repeated failures in the conduct of public examinations and defending students' right to peaceful protest....
