Hundreds join Census 2027 marathon in Leh as Ladakh set to become first UT to complete census by Sept 30

Srinagar, Aug. 4 -- Hundreds of participants joined a Census 2027 Awareness Marathon organised by the Directorate of Census Operations, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, in Leh to promote public awareness and participation in the upcoming census.

Ladakh is set to become the first State/UT in the country to complete the Census 2027 exercise by September 30, Chief Principal Census Officer (CPCO) Amit Sharma said during a Census 2027 Awareness Marathon in Leh.
