Visakhapatnam, Aug. 6 -- Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) Chairman and Managing Director Rear Admiral (Retd.) Chandrasekharan Raghuram met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and discussed a roadmap to leverage the state's coastline for maritime-led economic growth.
According to an official statement, the discussions focused on the proposed greenfield shipyards at Machilipatnam and Dugarajapatnam, which are envisaged as key drivers of HSL's long-term expansion and India's shipbuilding capabilities.
The projects are also aimed at strengthening the country's maritime self-reliance.
