Kangra, Aug. 1 -- Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) Vice Chairman Ajay Verma on Saturday launched the Him Bus Plus Card, saying the initiative would provide substantial savings to regular passengers, with benefits of up to Rs 2,000.
Launching the card at his office in Kangra, Verma said passengers can obtain the card through the HRTC website, online platforms or Lok Mitra Kendras by paying an annual fee of Rs 365, equivalent to Re 1 per day.
He said cardholders would receive a five per cent cashback from their very first journey on HRTC buses, with the discount increasing as the number of trips rises. Senior citizens will be entitled to a 15 per cent discount under the scheme.
