Shimla, March 30 -- Himachal Pradesh government would spend nearly Rs 3,000 crore under JICA funding to modernise healthcare infrastructure, Chief Minister told the Assembly on Monday, while strongly defending the state's procurement of high-end medical equipment, including robotic surgery systems.
Intervening during the cut motion on the Health Department, Sukhu said the government has sufficient financial resources for capital expenditure on life-saving equipment and is prioritising the upgradation of medical institutions across the state.
