Dharamshala, Aug. 24 -- The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has introduced a significant change in its student registration system, deciding to register students from Classes 9 and 11 instead of Classes 10 and 12.

The move, aimed at streamlining the examination process and preventing technical and administrative challenges during board examinations, will apply to students enrolled in all government and private schools affiliated with the board.

HPBOSE Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma highlighted on Monday that Rule 18.1 under Chapter 18 of the Examination Regulations, 1994, has been amended.
