Dharamshala, Sept. 26 -- Himachal Pradesh Revenue, Horticulture and Tribal Development Minister Jagat Singh Negi laid the foundation stone of the Sub-Tehsil building at Harchakiyan in Shahpur Assembly constituency. Once completed, the new building would enable residents to access various revenue-related services locally, saving them the need to travel long distances for routine work.
Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip of the Congress Legislature Party Kewal Singh Pathania was also present on the occasion. He said that the PWD has estimated the construction cost at around Rs1 crore.
Negi assured that there would be no shortage of funds for the construction of the building and efforts would be made to complete it at the earliest.
