Shimla, March 25 -- Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee President Vinay Kumar Chaudhary on Wednesday accused Leader of Opposition (LoP) and former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur of spreading misinformation about the financial condition of Himachal Pradesh and misleading people both within the state and across the country.
Responding to Jai Ram Thakur's recent remarks after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, Vinay Kumar said the allegations that the state was heading towards a financial emergency were completely baseless.
He claimed that the present financial challenges were the legacy of the previous Bharatiya Janata Party government.
