Dharamshala, Aug. 3 -- Vinay Sharma on Monday assumed charge as Deputy Director (Northern Zone) of the Himachal Pradesh Information and Public Relations Department at Dharamshala following his promotion. Before his elevation, Sharma served as District Public Relations Officer in Hamirpur, Mandi, Una and Dharamshala.
A native of Kitpal in Nadaun tehsil of Hamirpur district, he also worked as a journalist with various newspapers before joining government service. He has been honoured with the Hindi Rajbhasha Award for his contributions.
