Dharamshala, July 13 -- Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Whip and Shahpur MLA, Kewal Singh Pathania, today inspected the ongoing reconstruction of Akhankhola, Dhar Khas and Kasumbar roads in the Sudhed area along with Public Works Department Chief Engineer Vikas Sood.
The roads, being rebuilt at an estimated cost of Rs 48.50 lakh after suffering extensive damage during last year's monsoon, were reviewed for progress and quality. Pathania directed officials to ensure that there was no compromise in construction standards and asked them to expedite the work.
He said the state government was committed to providing quality basic infrastructure, including roads, healthcare, electricity and drinking water, to people across the state.
