Dharamshala, June 29 -- : A total of 1,01,584 children aged below five years were administered Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) on the first day of the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization Programme (IPPI) in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district today under the National Polio Eradication Programme.
According to the Health Department, 99,144 children received polio drops at designated vaccination booths across the district. In addition, 1,438 children travelling through transit points were immunised, while 992 children in identified High Risk Areas (HRAs) were covered through special outreach drives.
