Hamirpur, June 24 -- The district health authorities have taken precautionary measures due to the spread of rabies in some parts of the Nadaun revenue sub-division of the district.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ajay Atri said on Wednesday that the Health Department immediately took precautionary measures upon receiving news of the death of a man from Jammu-who had been residing in Bhalun village of Nadaun subdivision-due to rabies at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda.
He said in a statement that following the confirmation of the death due to rabies, a health department team contacted the deceased's family, gathered detailed information about the case, and provided them with medical counselling.
