Dharamshala, Aug. 2 -- Kangra's oldest tunnel, which continues to retain its historical identity, has once again come into focus amid calls for its restoration and beautification to enhance the district's tourism appeal.
Despite its historical significance, no concrete steps have been taken so far for the renovation or aesthetic development of the tunnel, local observers have said. They believe that with proper illumination, artistic paintings, and displays showcasing Kangra's rich culture and history, the tunnel could emerge as a major tourist attraction and a new landmark for the district.
