Ashok RainaDharamshala, Aug. 6 -- Former Himachal Pradesh Transport and Industries Minister and Jaswan-Pragpur MLA Bikram Singh Thakur on Thursday criticised the state government's decision to discontinue the HRTC Green, Smart and Samman Cards and replace them with the Him Bus Plus Card, alleging that the move would increase the financial burden on commuters.
Addressing the media, Thakur, a senior BJP leader, claimed that the Congress government had withdrawn public-friendly transport schemes introduced during the previous BJP regime under the guise of "system change".
